Fernando would of been a better option against Burnley, there less mobile then West Brom. I rate Fernandinho highly, for me he should always play when he's fit.

I don't see why we are not playing the same XI that played against Palace.

We have two defensive fullbacks in the team today with no striker in the team,
against Palace both Zabaleta and Kolarov were the arguably the key reasons as to why we won that game, both got an assist each and Zabaleta should have scored.

1-0 all over it if we are to win.

I agree that would include Zab and the other Fern. I reckon Sagna and Fernando should have played the home game, not the away game.

Same here

x2

Sagna and Clichy don't offer much going forward and without a recognised striker we need options.

This has got me worried too. Without Zab and Aleks, where would our attacking threat have come from against Palace? Think we might struggle to score today.

AK/Clichy doesn't bother me, it's Zab and Dinho that does, both far better than their back-ups.

Pellegrini needs to stop rotating too much in my opinion, I am no sports scientist but from what I see I think it's a little bit overrated.

Get the game won then make your substitutes.

Strong line up and with us playing 2 games in the space of 48 hours we have to rotate.

Rotate for the home game against Burnley, yes.

But we should have put our best available team out against WBA today, the lads have had nearly a week off.

I feel the same. I prefer Clichy to Kolarov anyway but I'd always play Fernandinho. Fernando hasn't impressed me at all.

Put me in the 'disappointed with team' section. Best team should be out there ie Zaba and Dinho

Zaba picks up an injury in the West Brom game and people will be asking why Pellegrini didn't rest him.

i'll wait until we've played the game before i worry about team selection.
Manuel has obviously chosen the side he thinks can win the game.
I'll go with his expertise.

It's a forum tradition ;-)

Rotation is a crock of shit. Chelsea will play the same team on Sunday as they played today and every other game this season. One player yes, but too many, especially defence affects the chemistry.

True.

Fighting blues in the concourse you should be fucking ashamed of yourselves with little kids around. Absolute disgrace and we are talking 15-20 involved not 2. Fucking tools.

sorta agree...but chelsea have been very lucky with their injuries so far... MP surely thinks he can win with rotation , so hoping he is right.

We win and the team selection is genius, resting players and still getting three points.

We lose and the manager had no choice but to rotate and the players picked will have been good enough on paper.

Best to just wait and see what brick wall you'll be banging your head against.

P. S. Navas must have compromising pictures of Pellegrini...
