Not for the first time in his City career, Milner was the unsung man of the match last week.
West Brom are no fools and will be alive to the modern day Revie plan (sorry! False number nine. City never innovated, only copied the likes of Barca. Silly me).
I'm hoping that our lads are familiar enough with the gameplan to rotate their positions and sharp enough to take advantage of any ensuing confusion.

Jimmy chased down the defenders on the ball more effectively than any of our strikers do.
As a strategy to maximize our possession, it worked well!
Jimmy also set up a goal.
So personally I can't see a reason to change it.
That said WBA will have watched the video so may be better able to do a better job as a result.

The good thing about no striker is the central defenders of the opposition can't decide who to mark, between Nasri/Silva/Toure/Milner they're so fluid about positioning it opens gaps aplenty.
Our defense has also settled well now even when switching players which is something Mancini fell down on, under Mancini if Vinney was out we were screwed and it showed, Demi was as inspired signing looking at it now.

These are the sort of games where Frank comes into his own - Just like at Leicester he seems to make an impact against teams that we often struggle against. I expect because he has played so much in the PL - I love his air of positivity and added to our champion squad means I fear the so called struggling teams less. What a run we are on, and isn't it funny that having won 8 on the trot all the media can talk of is how well Van Gaal is doing - laughable. Another 1-0 would do fine.
