With us even more reliant on the fullbacks, I think Kolarov and Zabaleta will play. Both set up the goals yesterday, so I imagine both will continue to start until a forward returns.

Very good point, both were instrumental in our win yesterday.

Kolorov is nailed on to start. Pellers will give Clichy another game's rest so his injured foot can get better.
I would play Saturdays team.

I have always felt we have had a tough time away to WBA in the last few seasons so full focus is needed, especially considering it's Boxing Day when motivation could be low.

Same team as Saturday for me!

WBA have a local derby the game after us against Stoke, they will obviously be looking at resting players if at all possible.

I would back our replacements against theirs any day of the week, keep playing football starve them of possession and we should be fine.

Jovetic should be back for this one but I'd keep him on the bench and play the same team and then bring him on later in the game if needed.

Hart
Zaba
Kolarov
Mangala
Demichelis
Fernandinho
Toure
Nasri
Silva
Navas
Milner

WBA v Stoke isn't a derby.

WBA v Stoke isn't a derby.

Neither is Salford v Liverpool but a lot of Rag fans seem to think so !!

Same team v WBA as played Saturday and we should be fine.
Good luck to Stoke City tonight !!

Teams like WBA will be focusing on their next game - not worrying about Stoke. I can see their Manager - is it Irvine? - putting out his strongest team against us.

Strongest available team. No pissing about trying to be clever just get the 3 points.

The time to play the likes of Fernando & Sagna is easier home games, not an away match where we need to keep the winning momentum going. These sort of games are always potential banana skins, especially if the opposition score first & get the crowd & ref behind them. Let's not give them that opportunity.

Just been told got 2 tickets for this at the last minute, get in! Could be a crucial game depending on the Chelsea result tonight.

Strongest team available, which for me would include Clichy.

Save any rotation for Burnley at home i.e Sagna, Kolarov coming in.

Any news on Jovetic possibly making the bench?

I agree, and they won't need to score first to get the ref behind them since its Clattenburg, he'll be starting behind them.

completely disagree about Fernando, he is a purely defensive midfielder, the type of player we only tend to need away from home.

Kolarov is the best crosser of a ball in the team so he should start more often than not, especially since Navas can't find a blue shirt with his crosses.

He's got a chair and a table to make first then he says he will make a start on the bench.
