IMO if available the player we should be signing in Alex Song I think with him in the side we could seriously take the champions league by storm. Song and Yaya would make the most dominant midfield in the world and as it seems Barca are going for him I think we should make Arsenal an offer they cant refuse for him. Even offer De Jong plus cash if needs by. I am a big fan of De Jong BTW but IMO Song is possibly the most underrated player in the premiership.

I also like Song and him and Yaya would be close to unstoppable, but let's be serious with Barcelona moving for him he is likely to take his talents to Spain unless we make this gigantic offer which I highly doubt we will this summer.

The squad is already good enough to compete for/ retain the title. These days signings are probably with the Chimps league in mind.

Do we really need anyone I think we will win the league easily this season the 352 looked good and we can always go back to 442 if things aint going well in a game.

Unless united sign a top class centre mid which i doubt they will as there aint many available then my money is on us winning the league by at least 10 points!!

They have signed kagawa, one of the best mids in the world and will be quality for them next year,

So are the rags. Wio is fucking shite and they have no one in midfield anywhere near the quality of Yaya.

If we get De Rossi and I think Mancini will then we are sorted.

Possibly wishful thinking, but perhaps we were waiting to see if they really had the weight to buy RVP? If they hadn't, would people really have been that worried about going into next season with the same squad + Rodwell?


Perhaps now with the level they have strengthened it will seem more pressing to address our own deficiencies.

If our squad stays fit, we don't need anyone else. Another signing, for me - given that the team/new players from last year has had 12 months to bed in, and a good pre season; we have the irresistable force that is Yaya; a fit and up-and-at-'em again Tevez; and all the other world class players - would just be yet another cherry and on our massive, delicious, delectable cream cake.
We're gonna shut the world up anyway - again!
