We are the 28,000

Im a long standing season ticket holder and have been going for over 30 years but after the last 2 home games decided to keep my money. The brand of football is so dull at the moment and one player up front at home to stoke just about says it all. His obsession with holding midfielders is crippling us and to be honest I hope the rumours about an initial 6 mths contract are right and that we can get hiddink in the summer.

With hughes we looked like we would score everytime we attacked but couldnt defend to save our lives. Now we dont look like scoring and can defend marginally better. I was a Hughes outer to be honest but the laughable zonal defending and ultra defensive approach is enough to test anyones patience.

A good player does not automatically make a good manager. And his success as a manager was not in the Premiership and was with an already pretty successful team.

It's quite clear that in the Premiership, like Ramos and Scolari, he is out of his depth.

rightly or wrongly, I expect more from you. inter had won NOTHING between 1989 and 2004. as soon as mancini took over, 3 straight scudetti, two italian cups (and a runners up). of course the match fixing scandal played a part. but he made the most of his opportunity.
They might have won nothing but they were a decent team who had come very close before he took over. He also had an outrageous stroke of luck with the corruption scandal, as you said. But even if a lot of it was down to him, it still doesn't mean that he can hack it in the Premiership. He never did anything in Europe, a competition dominated by PL clubs.

no they weren't. they were massively over-spending and under-achievers. they barely achieved 4th in the season before he took over.

as for not hacking it in the PL, I think that argument is beyond ridicule when he is averaging over 2 points per game. maybe we'll know more at the end of the season, but to pretend he is failing so far is moronic.

Agree - people need to calm down!

As you say, we'll see at the end of the season but I don't believe his PPG ratio will be higher than Hughes. The results in his last 8 games in all competitions are L W W L W L W D. That's equivalent to 1.625 points per game.

Just watching the match that I recorded - can anyone explain why the sound recording always picks up the away fans dead loud and make us sound dead quite - I could hardly hear stoke when I was sat in b109...not just this match i've not this on either.

i havnt missed a fa cup game this season and if we get to wembley i want a cup final ticket

har har. that's the lamest attempt at fudging the stats I've seen in a while. last eight? why not the rest? if you'd done the same for hughes' last 8, what would the result have been? not good, I am thinking. and since when is there any correlation between cup results and league points per game?

very disapointed!!the atmosphere was terrible and stoke just outsung us all game,my season ticket is in 109 but my ticket had been sold so sat in 104 and it was just shocking i got told off for standing up and singing!!!why dont the rest of the stadium get behind the players?
