We will beat CSKA, Munich and Roma.

We haven't won one of the first three but now were going to win the next three! One of whom is Bayern who are now 4-0 up after 29 minutes!

I am kidding :P. Obviously I don't think we would beat Bayern, but I think we will run Roma very close.

to be fair it looks like they will be top of the group assured even before they play us

Bayern smashing roma 4 nil 30 minutes in (will they blow the lead? Haha!). This group will go down to the last game for us, it'll just be down to a matter of whether we need a win in rome or just a draw, for one reason or another I think there's more chance of the latter

Stranger things have happened and it could be a different type of game if they are guaranteed qualification.

I think where nearly out .
Don't win against CSKA at home .
Then it's goodbye Champions League .
CSKA is must win. Goes without saying

I see City and Roma both beating CSKA.

I can't see us beating Bayern, which means it's very likely that we'll need to beat Roma in Rome.

I see it's 4-0 now!!

Bayern is a bonus. Beat CSKA at home, and beat Roma away is a big ask, but would probably be enough.

There's something intrinsically wrong when we struggle season in, season out, in this competition. The team can either be totally in control or it can be electrifying ... in the Premier League ... but when it comes to Europe, it comes across as a sheer bloody nuisance to the players. I'm not defending Mancini in any way as we all now know there was behind the scenes discontent, but his lack of progress in Europe was the reason for his sacking. Yet his replacement himself is seemingly stumped as to how to progress the club to the big league.

Personally, I think that FFP has had a severely negative impact on our club. No big single thing but instead a series of small restrictions which when combined have prevented City from doing what we all know really needed doing, and these small intrusions are now biting deep.

Am I right in saying that if Bayern beat Roma tonight (looking very likely) and beat them at home then they will be guaranteed to top the group before they play us?

Yep.

Bayern will determine whether we progress or not.

They know they are through already so it will be interesting to see how they play at home against Roma.
