We can still win the league

We just aren't good enough this season.
I disagree. On our day we're easily the best team. We've had injuries, suspensions, bad luck and absolutely diabolical decisions go against us yet we're still in with a slither of a chance.
Obviously imo!

Yet Chelsea are the ones with the ten point cushion despite us being easily the best team?

Just one game where we were cheated and then missed a golden chance to go 2-0 up - if we'd won we could've been 5 points behind with a game in hand and Chelsea still to play.

I bet there's Rags making the same points for their team.

We have to win tomorrow first but 8 points will keep Chelsea on their toes and if we could reduce that gap to 5 points in the next 3 weeks then they will feel the pressure just like Utd & Liverpool did previously. We need to be on their coat tails for when they drop a few points, which they surely will. I will be pleased if we make a fight of it, even if we don't catch them.

If you take out the results against Leicester and Everton, and look at the results between and up until now, our defence has started to be a lot tighter and played better as a unit. Going forward through the rest of the season with no injurys at the back, I think this area is not as bad as we're all making it out to be. As Ben Crenshaw said whilst on the brink of defeat in the 1999 Ryder cup "I have a very good feeling about this".

And as corporal Jones always said "they don't like it up them".

Whilst it's unlikely, it's not as unlikely as coming from 8 points behind with 6 to play.

I won't get my hopes up though unless that rag twat betFred pays out on Chelsea, in which case it's on.

PS...does anyone else think Apple are part of the agenda? Often times I write 'rag' and my iPhone autocorrects to 'tag'. I know the 'r' is next to the 't', and so some of you will attribute it to fat fingers...but I swear at certain times it does it on its own?

"On our day", he said. The issue is we've rarely been "on our day." "Our day" comes about once every three weeks, when we look like the best team in the league. In my mind, it really comes down to taking the early chances we earn and that are given to us. Especially early, when we score we force another side to open up to catch up.

If every team played up to its potential every match, I think we'd win the league. We just have to do it far more often here on out and hope the others -- especially Chelsea -- do it less often.
