We Did The Poznan Properly!

Ok, apart from Delia(Smith), come on Stoke, a song about one of their players, and booing our players in the first half, I didn't hear that much noise. If that's the total sum of their songs and support, they really haven't got much room to talk.

One more thing. As an old timer(crys) who always used to start songs off in the North Stand, it was a pleasure to be stood next to the BA on the back row/corner of the away stand. Not only have they organized themselves into good numbers, but they sing througout the match, and have come up with some badly needed original and new songs, not only about City, but more importantly about the players as well.

As the season goes on these new songs will catch on, and hopefully more and more people will join BA and start singing with them in general. It took a while but BA have delivered on their initial promises. What we need to do now is support them.

BTW. Who was that pissed up young girl falling all over me on the back row?

PS. BA. We need a song for Barry. Thought he was tremendous yesterday. Shame I never made it on to the crazy bus.

good to see you again yesterday. and this post makes me happy. by organised think you will mean the fact we just get together at the back of the staircase, and then just go wherever seats are free. was great to hear songs we have been singing for months start to really take off and more people get involved, stewards tried to move us, but fortunatly enough people had come to that area it was physically impossible for them to get to the back. was the same at fulham.

with regards to the young girl, she goes absluly evrywhere with city. she's not a bad person, just misguided an had been drinking since 10am with us.

Nice to see you again Felix. Yes. Numbers. No problem with the girl. Even the bloke next to me who lost his seat to you lot, joined in in the end. Both of us standing on seats and bouncing up and down.(fourty somethings :-) )

BTW. Now you've got a good base, a good following and some new songs going, I hope you lot start expanding and getting more pople to join in over the coming season. Hopefully it will get to a point where the club 'finally' get involved and start giving BA The support it deserves. (away tickets all together, and perhaps in the centre of the stand, etc)

BTW, any chance you lot could get the SS going a bit more? It's still a bit quiet. If we could get both stands going at home, it would be good. Don't you all sit there now on match days?

All of this especially the last bit.

we are spaced out a bit to much in the south stand (plus not everyone we go to away games with sits there) it's the home games we really really needed the cubs support with. we tried to sort somethin last year before renewals were made so we could alll be sat next to eachother at the back of 117, however for some reason nothing came of it. the club was good in supporting the idea of 'tickets together at away games', however the ticket office & money for tickets was a nightmare to sort out (we therefore tried to become an osc and got no reply) but it works out a lot easier and less confusing if we just move to the back of a staircase.

we cant do this for home games because a) wed block the entrance to the concourse and b) we would be banned within a few games if we tried and c) we would piss too many people off by taking/blocking their seats.

if you know the man who lost is seat, apologise on my behalf.

the club been absolutly brilliant meeting us and helping out whenever they can (osc not replying was noth to do with them), however this sort of thing is difficult to sort and especially with the petty rules and regulatons that exist today. our banner for example is not allowed to go up in the ground due to the fact one of our logo's has a fist on it ?!?!.
