its hard to raise your game against teams that come and defend,
we always struggle against the lower teams,
under hughes these were the games we would have drawn,
yes it was boring and dull but the main point is we got the points
come on everybody be possitive,
move on to the next game,

there is nothing to complain about we got the points ''job done'' these are hard games pompey are fighting for prem survival, chelsea arsenal and manure all have the odd home game when it dosnt go to plan

interviewed earlier mancini admitted it was a poor performance, but three points clean sheet, and really no team plays well every single match of a season..

They didn't come and defend though, they had plenty of opportunities and looked very threatening for a team who are bottom of the league, don't put your head in the sand and say we won in second gear, could have been very different and their would be uproar on here. Todays game is more evidence for the need for our defence to be improved upon massively. Mancini as the clever man he is will surely have seen it and will improve us in the summer.

Utd do that most weeks. They play a weakened team, and do enough to win.

I don't think City deliberately set out to just do enough, but at least we won, and it puts us in a great position in the League

wanted to see us do this for ages couple of years ago these were games we would slip up on
