as much as i laughed on saturday when it was sang at 2-0 v newcastle, i hope we win with the grace weve always lost with

last night for all our dominance in the game the goal just didnt come and sat there thinking we will score again soon even in injury time

not a disaster for me if we dont qualify even though i still think we will at the moment

for me the champions league this year was all about our team learning and not a trophy i thought we could win, weve played better than given credit for in this group but been abit niave and we will certainly learn from it and be better next season (although as i say i dont think we are out of it yet) we are not as good as barca or real madrid just yet but we are closing the gap quicker than any other team as before, ive really enjoyed the group games, us and the opposition playing some great football, great to watch

this season for me, city have been a dream to watch, weve played football like ive never seen city play before and its an absolute pleasure to watch, yes there are times when we get frustrated watching us (like last night) but i cant knock the squad and manager at all, even though there are times i dont agree with team selections or players performances, i just want to enjoy watching city and boy do i at the moment

we can win the league, we can win the fa cup, we can win the carling cup and if current form was taken into account we would win the lot but that might not happen, but as fans lets enjoy the ride, the fight to win each trophy, and more importantly lets support the team like we do, i missed only 12 games home and away between 1983/85 and celebrated like we had won the world cup when we beat charlton 5-1 to go up, this season is another planet football wise and im loving it

come on city, keep going, keep playing like we do and we will keep supporting you like we, the fans always have, but lets keep our gracefulness and sense of humour and not become like them arrogant scum, lets win and win it in style on and off the pitch

Fantastic post mate. I also celebrated that Charlton 5-1 like we had won a major trophy. Had to pay twice to get in that day (got thrown out of the Charlton end, was in there coz there was no queue to get in) and spent the night in the Hot Pot in the Moss. Happy days!

That is a tremendous post, take a bow that man, take a fucking bow!!!

Sometimes I wonder if some blues reflect the views of City-haters, that is because we have spent lots money we should win everything as a consequence.

(I write this as Chelsea go 1-2 down.)

We are who we are, better or worse. But for me always for the better.

Best post for weeks. Top job mate.

Sorry...Do not agree with the op...Who the fuck is anyone to tell any other blue what to sing..47K WERE SINGING IT on Saturday so are we all wrong?!! I presume by the title this is what you mean?

Blue moon police again passing judgement. Why is it arrogant..?Not to me,it's tongue in cheek so I for one will keep singing it!

F.F.sake.... Lose one game and the "I'm a better blue than you" mafia are out!!

st helens
not for one minute do i think im better than you mate and im not telling anyone what to sing or not to sing
as i said originally i laughed on saturday when it was sang and it was very apt, because try as newcastle did they were streets behind us
all im saying is we are famous for being able to laugh at ourselves and we certainly have had to and when we take over this league and hopefully europe in time, i hope we still have the class weve always had in winning as we have had in losing

i would hate us to be anything remotly like the scum and how they portray themselves, im proud to be blue even when we were shit rather than red scum even when they win things

didnt mean to offend you fella, like i say we are all in it together, and at this moment in time its a dream to be a blue

lets hope we win loads together, fans and players and staff
