we have been talking with Barca

Players like Bojan , Pedro Toure are not fit to tie Robinho's shoelaces let alone replace him. Henry is not even half the player he once was, Robinho has more talent then all Barca players and is on the same level as Messi when in top form its just that Man City don't have creative quality or a good manager to accomidate him like Messi has. Messi would struggle away from home in the Prem with non creative players like Barry, De Jong, Kompany, and Bellamy supporting him. Give Robinho Xavi and Iniesta and you have the worlds best player.

I think he may have a point

Earlier sky was reporting that barcelona were ready to offer Rooney 8m a year, which means they may be selling a striker which is where we come in maybe?

Then again this is from sky sports and was reported at the same time as flamini...

What that Robinho has more talent than all Barca players? Ridiculous! What he's also saying is that Robinho is as good as Messi but doesn't show it because Tevez, Ireland, Barry, Bellamy, Adebayor, SWP, Petrov, De Jong etc etc (i.e. his teammates, he conveniently misses some of these out to add weight to his arguement and adds our current centre back as in Kompany) are not good enough! Absolute nonsense! All this creative and non-creative stuff is nonsense also. Robbie is supposed to be one of our creative players! That's his job! I've not come on here to Robbie bash but comments like this are farcical and have to be laughed at or corrected.

Agree mate - it's a joke.

How come Tevez can play so well and score so many goals? He plays with the same players as Robinho!

Just another sorry excuse to hide Robinho's lazyness.

Comparing Robinho with Messi is ridiculous. Stackmonkey, do you ever watch Messi play? he fights for every ball he loses, doesn't whine when fouled and recently scored his 100th goal for Barca by the age of 22.

Robinho in this Barca team wouldn't achieve half that.

Shhhh! we dont want the people at barca knowing that, we want a good deal ;)

All these Robinho apologists need to wake up and realise that it's not just being good at "keepie uppies" that makes you a great player.

11.08 News coming in from Spain, and Barcelona have called a press conference for lunchtime today, with reports suggesting it is to make an announcement regarding Pep Guardiola's future. The Barcelona coach, who has been linked with the likes of Manchester United and AC Milan, is out of contract at the end of the season.

May be linked to us for summer?
