I've visited Blue Moon daily for over two years, always as a guest and just another Blue eager for news on our beloved City.
It is only now, given recent events, that I feel the need to post something so here goes!
For years we've been a lot of people's second team and other supporters have sympathised with our plight, admired our loyalty, declared their desire to see us succeed at any level.
What we all as City fans need to realise is that those days have gone forever.
The utter dross that has come out in the media relating to our pursuit of Kaka confirms that the World and his Wife are now against us.
We all need to develop a thick skin and get used to the rubbish that will be written and said about City on a daily basis.
Ok, we didn't succeed with Kaka, but for the first time in our history the entire football world has been discussing our club and they now all know just how serious our new owners are.
Only today, I've seen and read things that I find utterly incredible.
a few little examples.....
Beckham feels Kaka has done the right thing not to be cash motivated.
How rich is that? This clown didn't go to L.A Galaxy for money did he?
We have paid well over the odds for Bellamy.
So the £20 million disaster that has been Robbie Keane to Liverpool was money well spent was it?
Al Fayed feels there should now be a salary/transfer fee cap.
The same clown who paid ridiculous wages at Fulham to get them from League one to the Premiership?
These are but three examples of what i'm talking about, the point i'm trying to make is that we need to ignore it, come together and get behind our club and owners.
Prior to all the events of this last week i had my doubts about MH, like many of us, but I now feel it is essential that we all get behind him and everyone at the club.
Let's show the world at the Newcastle game by really, really pulling together as one and giving the club our full backing and support at the top of our voices for 90 minutes!!
We are still the best fans in the world....we just need to all pull together now and maybe change our attitudes a little to suit our new found status.
