Bayern Munich’s Karl Hopfner has asked Uefa’s financial fair play committee to expel Manchester City from next season’s Champions League competition for what he sees as ‘flagrant piece of deception’ by the English team.

The executive board vice-chairman is convinced that Manchester City have effectively stolen £10 million from his Club by replacing the real Jerome Boateng with a Fijian barman called Duncan.

Hopfner, speaking yesterday said:

“The man that arrived from Manchester City is not the real Jerome Boateng, they have clearly switched the player and are laughing at us behind our backs.”

“The real Jerome Boateng is a German international and can play effectively in every position across the back four, the player they have sent us doesn’t speak a word of German and insists on mixing ‘White Russians’ at the end of every training session.”

“If Manchester City want to play in The Champions League, they must abide by the international rules of fair play. I am firmly convinced that Uefa under Michel Platini will take action when he hears of this. This could lead to exclusion from UEFA club competitions.”

Bryan Marwood, Chief Football Administrator at Eastlands has promised to co-operate with any enquiry and believes that video footage of the player at Eastlands last season will be enough to prove that ‘Big Dunc’ and Jerome Boatang are one and the same player.

Liverpool did that to Juve with Ian Rush, sent an imposter and changed his name to John Aldridge.

Haha! I think they just believe the hype that Boateng got when at Hamburg. It'll be like our media with our young English talent. They aren't just young English talent; they're the next great hope, the white Pele, they're potential world class after playing 18 games for a mid table team... you get my point.

Boateng will probably have got that same kind of hype in Germania. Hamburg will have played on that and then came the World Cup where the Germ's were okay and Boateng was probably looked upon in the same light as their other young stars Müller and Özil. The thing is, he wasn't that good, really. Coming to City, within a few months it was blatently obvious that Jérôme lacked many fundamental skills of a defender, a football even. The world was duped by this daft media know-nothing journos who hype up their own too much!

He was great in the World Cup though at left back, and good v Valencia. It is very odd how he has not cut it.

He wasn't great in the World Cup at all! He did a few great things, but at times he hindered Germany's forward play down that left wing because he had no left foot! It is a total myth that he was great, people just isolated their attention on the good things he did.. but I distinctly remember paying attention to the negatives, and there were a few!

Have to agree with the above post.

Was trying desperately to see all the good things in his game at the world cup and I struggled (apart from that solo run from defence which stood out). But everyone else was impressed so presume I'd missed something!
