We must NOT underestimate West Ham on Saturday

City seems to step it up against the elite teams, but then take a nap when they have the opportunity to run up the score. I get nervous before every match. I just pray that they take advantage of a lesser opponent, and get some separation in their goal differential. Something questionably inappropriate like 8-nil.

Well, it's the age old thing. If you go out on the pitch thinking the game is won, you loose. This is for Mancini to sort with the players.

To be fair to West Ham, they always try and play football. They won't park the bus at home, will probably have 2 up front and have a go. This should favour our counter attacking style.

Obviously, we will be missing a number of key individuals, otherwise I would have been expecting another Fulham. I suspect we'll see Jo, Lescott and Boat come in. 4-3-3 again with Jo left and Ballo leading the line. Lescot CH with Boat going in a leftback...assuming Bridge is injured.

5-0

Balo scores all five but will receive no credit as the pundits will only talk about him taking a shit at half time.

It's going to be interesting to see how Balo performs in the central strikers role. I hope that's where he plays. If anyone can fill the scoring void I think it's him. I see him bagging a brace.

I'm very confident we can keep another clean sheet. My only worry is that Obinna could cause us problems like he did in pre season for Inter but apart from that I think their forwards are useless. The only question then would be whether Balotelli can win us the game, I think he will.

If it makes you feel any better for having doubt:

I've not been to any away game this season we've won.

The other four I haven't been to we've won all of them.

I'm going on Saturday. I'll get me coat.
Puncture that man's tyres, please.

I said in another thread that AJ will be up for this game, he wants to send a message. If you have a squad that pushes each other for time on the pitch then it's games like this that you'll reap the benefits.

It's time for City to rally around and learn how to play when Tevez is out. Liverpool managed to put 3 past Villa last night without Torres and Gerrard playing. Balotelli, Adebayor, Silva, Johnson... These players should strike fear in to West Ham hearts.

I was really worried about Fulham yet we destroyed them. I believe West Ham were very poor against Sunderland recently.

Believe. We'll win.
Torres is one of the big reasons why Liverpool have been struggling, he has been playing poorly. No surprise when he doesn't play Liverpool have one of their best performances of the year.

Carlito is the leagues best striker and is a huge miss when not playing.
