We need to play a strong side vs Wigan

If Mario is gonna be our main man in the Champions League games then he needs some minutes on the pitch this Saturday. It'll also show Bobby how focused Mario is, If he gets his IPad out while we are defending a corner then he's dropped for Napoli.
What on earth gave you that idea, allan?
His position right now is where he deserves to be in this squad. On the bench.
Until he grows up, mans up and learns a lesson from the likes of Edin about the level of performance and application required, then he is more likely to be our main man in the Carling Cup than the Champions League
also isnt he banned for 3 games in europe?

Keep the momentum going, sure sacrifice maybe 1 of the big 4 but we need to keep dominating and beating these teams for confidence. Also more playing time together, the better.
We WILL play a strong side. But it will involve 5 or 6 changes from the side that tore Spurs a new one. It's impossible for us not to play a strong side! Lets suppose we rest Aguero, Nasri, Silva, Yaya and Clichy. In come Tevez, Balotelli, Johnson, Milner and Kolarov!

No Silva & Nasri is a big risk. We looked lost when Silva wasn't on the field last season.

I agree. I'd defo go with one of them for this one. We need to rest a few players though, will need a stronger team out away to fulham next week as opposed to wigan at home

players like milner, tevez, johnson and balo need minutes on the pitch. the team that beat spurs might not be the same team every week, tevez might have a terrific run in the team when given a chance and then deserve to be in the starting line up. Besides to have a team with them in isn't exactly weak, they will probably play out of their skins to get in the team.
