Nothing to do with rest.
iv said this before and il say it again. Why does any team bother with carling cup? Is it possible to win all 4 cups? We should always play youngsters in carling cup. Something which MP fails to understand.
We would not be in this situation with all these injuries if we ignored carling cup.
That's pretty speculative to say the least.
We have players who are carrying an injury that needs proper rest or some type of surgery to attempt to fix namely DS , players like Mangala , VK , Kun who are soft tissue weak and suffered with long term injuries to KDB and Nasri.
Injuries happen in training as what happened to Nasri and have happened to us at regular intervals ( almost one new one per match ).
We have to look at how we train , when we train and most likely bring in specialists that know how to manage players regimes that will minimise risk of injury for maximium output.
The sheer speed and physicality of the premiership has left a few of stalwarts behind and some of our new arrivals are for a number of reasons finding it difficult to adapt as quickly as we would hope.
