we never win at home...

maybe a bit silly to say, but sort of miss the old days.
going into a game, like today, expecting to lose.
not giving a fuck because all that matters is being a blue.
the outcome being regardless.

the reality is, this or next season, we will come good again,
back then we had little hope of that.

i, for one, am smiling this evening
and having fond old memories.
This is much more nerve wracking than being completely shite.

I know a few City fans who seem to prefer it when we were shit and take for granted how good we've had it the last few years. I definitely don't miss results like yesterday's.

yeah, you're right, somehow the anxiety during the game yesterday was worse than back then.
utter frustration and resignation at the inevitability of it.

and yet, there's no way we aren't going to turn it around now.

when we were completely shite that undertow was our crutch.
there was no point in dreaming, pure acceptance.
all that mattered was being a blue.

and, ultimately, all that matters now is being a blue.

What will be will be
Erase the the last 13 glorious years and it's still great being a BLUE and always will be.The CITY is BLUE. CTID
