we will win our next 8 (eight) games!!!

£500 to Christies if we win that lot plus I'll streak round COMS.

Chances = 0.0%

We're in a dog fight, none of these games will be pretty and that don't work in our favour. It's normally teams that roll their sleeves up and scrap that get out of the mess we're in. I can't remember too many games this season where we've out worked the opposition. Of all the signings touted, Diarra ia a must.

All very winable games. Not one team who, on paper we should be worried about. We need to get our act together now and should look to take maximum points from all of them.

If games were played on paper we'd be top 6 by now.

Heard it said about Spurs earlier this season. Someone joked that they should re-lay the WHL pitch with A3.

Having thought about this for a bit longer I still stand by my original statement.

well....what a miserable bunch of fookers you lot are!!

I didn't say I thought we would win them all, but that each game was definitely winnable when looked at in isolation.

I reckon that we will get 16 points from these 8 games.

I will be bringing this thread up again in early Feb!!!

Every game we play is winnable on paper however it's on the pitch what matters and can you honestly say you've seen anything positive recently to suggest we could go and win 2 or 3 games on the run in the leauge let alone 8?

I suggest you have a look back at out results so far, and you will see that we havent won away from home in the league since August !

If we win all eight games I will post pictures of me sexually abusing Blue Roo.

does that mean he is getting abused regardless, but you only post pictures if City win all 8?

Well, I can't remember not wanting us to win ever before. However, I'd now be very happy with 7 wins & a draw :-)

I made a prediction of winning 4 out of the 5 games in Dec, starting with the Fulham game away. I couldn't have been further from the truth. We have gone from scoring for fun and conceding sloppy goals to the complete opposite although Dunne's header lead to another sloppy goal. We have always had problems breaking down the so called inferior teams. I wish the arabs money could buy a proper team spirit with every man putting a shift in. I have to praise Everton who have hardly any financial backing and a full strikeforce missing and every one of them dug deep and wanted it more. We dont seem to win any second balls of late and it winds me up something rotten. We should be sharp and winning the personal battles all over the pitch. Its ok for Ireland and Kompany to keep having outstanding performances but you need every man to work hard first and foremost and then the quality should eventually show and win games. We are still looking for the correct system and dont seem to have a plan B when things are not going right. I still think we should back Hughes and i do reckon we will string a few results together. Continuity is important look at Moyes and O'neill for instance. Lets give Hughes the time to mould his own team. Although if we slip into the relegation zone by not winning any of the next 3 games questions will have to be asked. I personally will back him 100%

Each year I make a full prediction when the fixtures are announced and I do not chane it throughout the season. At this moment in time we are currenlty six points behind what I have originally predicted and looking at the fixtures going forward, our home games are the most important:

Hull City
Wigan Athletic
Newcastle United
Middlesbrough
Aston Villa
Sunderland
Fulham
West Brom
Blackburn Rovers
Bolton Wanderers

We should get something out of all of these games. If I carry out my predications for the away games as well, then we should be on 55 points by the end of the season.

PS If anyone wants what I have been smoking then let me know

Looking at the previous poster and the list of relatively comfortable Home games to come, the problem is that the crowd will soon be on the backs of the players and management, making it even more difficult to win at home than away, where there will be less pressure. On the same theme, has anybody seen the schedule of Away games left? They include easy ones like Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, Man U, Everton etc.
