Kelly getting a run out even though she's been Pony for City for a while. Toone getting a run out based on past history and not current form. All a bit odd - if you were picking a team on current form it's very odd Jess Park is still sat there waiting.

Feels like Wiegman is very much the female Southgate, and doesn't realise that a fantastic young City player can play centrally as well as wide.

That 2nd half performance was absolutely awful, did they all have a dose of Nyquil during the break? Great tactics at the end from England. Put the smallest person on the pitch at centre forward and try and cross high balls to her in the land of giants. Hemp is a lot of things but a big bustling centre-forward isn't one of them. So many players in that team currently out of form. James as a player frustrates the hell out of me. There really is a talent in there but if things aren't going her way she just goes into a funk and looks so lackadaisical. Surely there's got to be someone better than Wubben-Moy to provide cover at centre-half. DId Toone even complete a pass to a teammate when she came on? Bronze's best days are well and truly behind her and even Stanway seems to have regressed into half the player she used to be.

Wiegman indicated pre-match that it was just rotation as she has 2 very good keepers to choose from. Said that Hampton's form for Chelsea had been good and she deserved to start.What’s the story with her tonight? Has she been dropped?
