Wealdstone FC to host Man City Fans for Wembley FA Cup Final now SOLD OUT

Hi there the bar will open from 11am but if we have a few early arrivals they can get a drink from 10am but there will only be a skeleton bar staff on for the first hour.
As we rely on a lot of volunteers many will be working Friday where we have a Stone Roses tribute band performing on stage which our outside promoters are putting on if anyone is interested see website TropicatRuislip.
Cheers
Ps Once again a Massive Thank You to to all those that are coming to our club on Saturday. Demand has been unbelievable we are looking forward to seeing you all again and all of us at our club will do our very best to make sure you enjoy your stay.
Came last year with Reddish Blues and loved the setup. We are back again on Saturday. Can’t wait and hopefully we can put a few quid in the Wealdstone coffers.

Got there at 1.30 absolutely no chance of getting a drink why was the empty bar not opened, subsequently we left got the tube in got a beer straight away in the novatel on Wembley way, if we go again I think we will take our own beer in a cooler.

Got there just before 2pm. Had a burger and then got a drink before leaving and the place was heaving with people with drinks in hand so not sure what the issue was earlier

Hi unfortunately the problem was 8 coaches all arrived at the same time so 400 plus fans wanting drinks at the same time. This made it impossible for the staff to keep up and recover from trying to serve so many at the same time.Even though we ask to stagger the coaches obviously with traffic that cannot be guaranteed. Also the brewery supply us with portable bars that we use to help speed up service but they did not deliver them to the club the day before. All I can say is that it hasn’t happened b4 as we haven’t had complaints about our service and can only apologise for those that had a much longer wait than usual as that’s not our intention ever.

Top afternoon. Bar was hammered for first round but think everyone showed up at same time, after that had no problem getting drinks. Had my lad this time so was on the playin field havin a drink and a kick about but the atmosphere inside and by the pitch was good when I went through. See you again

We left for same reason. We were in the Novotel too in the upstairs bar with no queue at all when we got there. Nice find that. They were letting both sets of fans in. Bit pricey but the beer was cold.

Bring your own beer to a place that sells beer.
Can't be doing that.

Yes the portable beers coolers definitely make a difference. Thanks for explaining. We left after 1 pint and a 20 minute bar cue,. The cue was bigger when we tried to refresh. we were 3rd coach in as well.

Just unfortunate timing but still enjoyed the excellent hospitality and first time I've had any problems getting served. It was fine after that initial rush as well. Maybe the enforced slow down in drinking was a good thing, helped me remember the game...oh wait on second thoughts. Thanks again to all the staff at Wealdstone and see you again next season

Got there just before noon and first pint was a breeze. Second round was just impossible so we left and went the spoons. Felt a bit bad for wealdstone but 3 pints and a coke at spoons was under thirteen quid, was served in seconds and as a bonus ran into the raider.

Burgers were good at wealdstone though, not that we may be back at Wembley for a while given our performances but it's popularity probably means now that they need to either cap it lower, put an outside bar up, pre pour pints or offer staggered arrival times. Or all of the above.

Still much preferable to the final slog into Wembley by road.

My Son and I visited for the first time. Over from Belfast. We were there for 1030am so
No issues with queues , as we were meeting mates at Wembley at 1pm

Had a great time. All staff welcoming and helpful. Would definitely go again.

Thanks to all staff

First time visitor on Saturday. Me and a mate got there before 11 so we beat the rush. It was unfortunate that so many coaches arrived near enough at the same time and as such the bar staff struggled to cope. The queues stayed quite big for quite a while so we eventually made our way to the 'spoons at Ruislip Manor. As someone else said, the Raider was in there so I had a chat with him and his mates for a few minutes and mithered him for a pic ;)

I wouldn't be put off going to Wealdstone again as by all accounts the issues with the beer queues were the exception rather than the norm. I actually think between that and the 'spoons at Ruislip Manor - which was also full of blues - if we get the East side of the ground again then that's where I'll be heading because £5 for a pint of Guinness at Wealdstone FC and £3.60 at the 'spoons beats £8 a pint at The Torch any day of the week, and the experience is miles better

was disappointed to hear someone had stolen the city entrance sign after semi. hopefully its easily replaced for next time.
