Wearing the shirt !

I only really started wearing them again in my 40s, mostly for cycling to the games but also when I can't be arsed ironing a tshirt!

Let's up the ante though - what is the abolsute maximum age you should have a shirt with a players name on it?!?!

That's have some fun :)

At what age should you stop wearing your City shirt when out and about not going to a match ? Or should we never stop ?

I bought the 125yr shirt which I love but I put it on and think ' bloody hell Gordon you look to old for that ' lol

I am 59 and a half !

Never too old in my view the challenge in your 40’s is keeping the beer belly at bay so it doesn’t look ridiculous when pull on a football jersey. I think it’s less to do with age and more to do with retaining a decent figure around the waist...

103? If it is Kompany, Zaba or Dunne then 125!? :-)

p.s.One of mine has Kompany, one has Pellegrini and I have a couple of tee shirts with Dunne!

If you look down and can't see your feet, time to forget wearing football shirts!

I’m planning to wear the proposed third kit with my plus fours, dear-stalker, Harris tweed jacket and paisley cravat to the bridge club on Mondays.

I don’t like the English view that adults shouldn’t wear them. Go to the football, show your colours and stop taking yourself too seriously.

I went to watch Dortmund a couple of years ago on a gloriously sunny Saturday afternoon and almost all of them were in yellow home shirts (of all eras) or black away shirts. It looked incredible inside the stadium with 80,000 wearing colours.

Remember the semi against United at Wembley when the full end seemed to be sky blue? Again, it looked amazing.

62 wear a new one every season wear it every time City play and Wear polo shirts on normal days and I don't even live in England.

Sad bastard I know but I wore it when we were shit so I will wear it now ; )
