Wearing the shirt !

Last replica shirt I bought for going to the match was in 97 when I was 19, even then it was worn once in the season then only for holidays or hanging about the house/visiting relatives.

If I have had any since bought for me or got because its decent would never wear for a day/night out and never to the match.

Now I only consider buying one if it is very special or decent design like the sash one or the 125yr one more to have than to wear.

All I need is a pin badge, got one on every coat I own and if it is a hot day pin one to my top.

Kits nowadays are shite designs in the main anyway we have had maybe 4 decent ones home and away since the late 90s

Same here all my non City coats and suits jackets have a pin badge.
Me and my kids brother families all wore a pin badge at our dads funeral, and a big City flag hung up at the wake along with his hand build bike.

I stopped 'wearing the shirt' when I was 16. I've started wearing a scarf to matches now though, mostly so I can swing it around my head and annoy the person behind me when we score.

I wear retro ones still, like the Colin Bell shirt or the 99 kit and a couple of others but have no real interest in the new kits, mostly because they usually look shit. I might wear a hoodie or jacket. Pep had one on against Newcastle the other day and I thought it was pretty smart, looked online and noticed they had a big design on the back that completely ruined it, which i find is the case with a lot of casual city gear.

I’m fine with going to the game in them but it ends there, maybe watching the game on holiday
Names in any situation shouldn’t be worn over the age of 14
A 40/50 year old bloke with FODEN on back of their shirt is just wrong
