Come the end of June, I'm only working 2 normal days a week until September. Got a whole 10 days off in August and going marlin fishing in Madeira.
Can't wait. Since January, I've been working pretty much every day.

I thought you were a doctor? Don't you just work like 10-11.15 every other Tuesday?

Lol not been docs for years but last time I needed to it was a case of tracking down a doctor who actually saw patients at any point during a 24 hour period.
It's ok, I'm not having a go, I know Harold Shipman doesn't represent all of you :)

I get 8 days off every four weeks with the shift I work in the mines
I work for the nhs, and work virtually every bank holiday, can't complain to much, cos the moneys ok. I get 8 weeks a year holiday, but I'm not bragging, I'm complaining! What about those in retail? They work bank holidays? What about those in the nhs/ emergency services. I don't think most get a lie in.

I worked today and i'm in tomorrow. I wish the media would stop saying 'have a nice long weekend everyone' as most of the people i know actually work bank holidays.
Mind you it does mean i get 37 other days off a year, which is nice.
