Ribery on form. Good sign for France at Euros.

It was a nice goal but I wouldn't gauge his form by his late substitute performance against a tired Icelandic team.

Giroud seems a class player, hopefully the links to Arsenal are true.
Ive not seen anything of him apart from tonight but he's looked very good in the time hes been on.

Blanc will have a lot to think about for his starting XI. Can you play Nasri, Ben Arfa, Benzema, Giroud and Ribery in the same team or do you need to break up the first three's understanding or the partnership that Giroud and Ribery seem to have.

Giroud always impresses. He's technically gifted for a big man, which isn't common.

Bayern are after him.

I would say the two weak links of the first half were Gourcuff and Evra. Had Clichy and Diarra been on instead they would have likely been 2-0 up at half time. That tells me they could easily play Nasri, Ben Arfa, Ribery, Benzema, Giroud, and Diarra together and have a fairly strong midfield to support two very good strikers.

Take out Ben Arfa for Cabaye (who had more successful tackles in the Premier League than Scotty Parker, by the way) and you have a more holding midfield with still quite a lot of creativity.

The way I see it, Benzema, Nasri, and M'Vila have been virtual locks under Blanc. You would have to think Ribery is also a lock. The right forward spot is up in the air, Remy or maybe Ben Arfa. M'Vila's partner could also be up for grabs.

-------M'Vila-----------
Ribery - Nasri - Ben Arfa
--Benzema - Giroud ----

I like the look of this midfield and attack but just wonder if M'Vila will provide enough cover on his own while also being the main link between defense and attack.

tbh I wish people would lay off england if we dont win playing amazing football were crap, we won and a win is a win at the end of the day. Germany lost to switzerland didnt they, but no one thinks there going to perform bad.

Weve got some exciting players coming through over the years- Sturridge, Wilshere, Oxlade, richards, even Carrol is looking alright

Come on England !!!!!!! :)

Oh, the Bayern players arrived yesterday evening and today they were all going to visit the Formula One in Monaco.

The German team has a core of Bayern players - so even if we might not win - that is about a guarantee for the final and second place... ;)

Yes - if we would trust too much Dortmund players then we probably would go out in group stage...
