Weekends Games 22/12 - Discussion

Cant write Chelsea off yet in title race.

Of cours winning the must win matches is not enough for them, they have some tricky matches coming up (Norwich away, Everton away, Stoke away, Arsenal home in next 4-6 rounds) if they can get most of these points they are back in the title race.

Alsop hopefully they will make Norwich very tired on Boxing Day and we will have an easier job there next Saturday.

Apart from all this Chelsea squad has huge potential, very young squad, they just need a manager with a long term plan also little bit of patience by Abra.

They made lot of singings potential stars, expecting instant success is a big mistake from Abra if he was ready to spend so much money on youngster on 19-20-21 yeard old guys.

Lukaku, Courtois, De Bruyne all part of the new Belgian generation, all very talented players, potential world class talents.

Brazillians are not doing bad in the Premier League it seems :)

Chelsea have quite a few of them, Luiz Oscar Ramires Piazon and I think one or two others I'm forgetting. I think this Piazon kid is gonna be pretty darn good.

Yes Piazon, but will not be as good as Adryan Tavares

Most exciting team in the league tbh, and it's very young squad now.

Clattenburg screwed them heavily, they'd be up there to win the league without that.

They are just 4 points behind City, so they still have a BIG chance to catch the Champions.

No chance of the scum dropping an 8 point lead though, oh wait a minute ;)

So they've already beaten Norwich on Boxing day? No point them traveling up there :)

I'm not goin' overboard about Chelseas emphatic win today , Aston Villa are a poor side in general these days , and Chelsea will meet much sterner oppostion ....... the huge win did wonders for their goal difference though !

As for the rags ...... i do think they were the better side at Swansea , but Swansea hung in there and scrambled the draw , and that was a pretty good result for them.

Of course that result is only any good to us if we win at Sunderland ...

Chelsea do this once a campaign, completely batter a team and look amazing. I remember it might have been Norwich last year. They just don't seem to have the guile for me.

i agree chelsea look impressive, most rags have written them off already. i believe chelsea will play a big part in this campaign. they re on form more than anyone else.

swansea were better the first half, the scum dominated the 2nd. when van rapist got the volley off the bar corner i felt the game swing for them. fair dues to swansea who can play and defend....a well earned point for weathering the storm 2nd half.

Yeah , i'm gonna take a bit more convincing about them than todays result .... they are undoubtedly a good side on their day , and Lampards return does make a difference , but they need to get a decent run going.
