Having the tv volume on an even number. Cant stop doing it, and if someone puts it on an odd number and i see it, it drives me crackers. I seriously get worked up over it.

Thank god i'm not the only one that does this!!!

After reading this thread last nite i've been more aware of what i'm doing with the volume on my tv.... and its really sad - i can only cope with the volume on 15, 20, 25 or 30. Any other numbers just won't do.

God, when did i get so anal lol

I bought some of this the other day, £3.50ish, i could'nt stand it mate.

Did you eat it cold? I prefer it when you cook it in a meal, then it releases all its spiced fatty goodness into whatever you're cooking. It's not my favourite though, a bit chewy. If you can find the fresh ones that you have to cook, they're quite good.

I buy Spanish Chorizo every week . Cost about £2.20 for 200g . It's great for a quick snack/lunch .Here's what I did with it yesterday for lunch for me and my son ;
80g Chorizo , chopped into one inch cubes ,
120g Cherry tomatoes , halved ,
Dash of Balsamic vinegar ,
Pinch of ground black pepper ,
Handful of Rocket leaves ,
Quarter of a Watermelon , de-seeded and cubed ,
1 whole garlic clove , peeled ,
3 slices of tiger bread , toasted

In a hot frying pan add the chopped Chorizo . You don't need any kind of oil adding to the pan , the Chorizo will emit oil during cooking .
Fry for a few minutes then add the Cherry tomatoes and fry for a few more minutes .
Meanwhile , toast the bread . When toasted , rub on one side with the garlic clove .
Then add a dash of Balsamic vinegar to the frying pan ( enhances the sweetness of the tomatoes and also adds to the sweetness of the Paprika in the Chorizo ) and add the ground black pepper ( no need for sea salt as salt is used in the curing process of the Chorizo so is normally seasoned enough )
Assemble the toast on a warm plate with a few Rocket leaves on top and add some of the Watermelon .
Add the Chorizo/tomatoes with a slotted spoon on top of the Rocket/Watermelon then drizzle the remaining juices in the frying pan over and around the toast .
The addition of Watermelon might seem a bit 'weird' but I find it cuts through the 'sweetness' of the Chorizo and Balsamic . It's just one of those recipes that seems to work .
Well , my family don't complain eating it .
