Looked very good in the training videos and seems to have improved since the last time he was here , so is there a chance he may stay? Hope he can play a part for us this season and would help with FFP.

I think if we're looking to keep him for the future, he might as well spend this season being a squad player, gaining experience etc and training with the very best.

Looked pretty average in tonights friendly, difficlut to fully assess as we played all the younger players together in a friendly. I was left wondering what the point of the game was, Ok we played some of the new players but can't understand why we didn't have a few first teamers in the mix. Essentially it was an EDS game which we managed to loose 0-1 and have to say it could have been 0-3.

The point to see if any of the youth players step up for first team action. And get first teamers some time on the pitch.

He's not gettin any younger, if hes good enough give him a go. Watched him play through the youth teams, definetely got it & a different option out wide

Weiss is skillful and pacy and has pretty good vision but his decision making lets him down and he seems mentally weak, as in he gives up too easily and drifts out of games. The best role he could have for us is a last 10 minutes player which is not what a 22 year old will want. We don't have a top quality winger at the club or a truly exciting one anywhere near ready to break through. Johnson was worse than Weiss today, people will say it is pre-season but he always looks the same to me - gasping after 20 minutes, struggling to get past even one player on him, and halfheartedly tracking back (standing off a player and not getting a challenge in). Really a weak position at our club, our best winger isn't even a winger (Nasri).

I'd have him & Johnson fight it out for a place, even if its on the bench. Some games a little bit of wing wizardry can come in handy. Jonno's goals earlier in the season have been invaluable but he need pressure to step up his game...if he can
