Very poor. You see a few brazilians doing this sort of thing in there 20's but it's mainly players on the brink of retirement who take the last payday. Seems bizarre when you play for a big team in the CL and are one of their better players. Maybe he has gambling debts or something, either that or is just a complete mercenary

Good luck to him. He'll be on a huge wage. Probably the type of money that you just can't say no to.
 
He has limited football talent for the top level. He can pull off some great tricks or score some nice goals from time-to-time but 75% of his general play is poor. Watched him a few times for Espanyol and Pascara and he was just bobbins. He scored a lovely goal in the CL for Olympiacos though!

He'll never be able to get a big contract from City/Chelsea/Barcelona/Madrid/Paris/Monaco/Bayern so this is the only opportunity he'll have to earn some serious money in his career.

Don't pretend none of us would go for exactly the same deal!
