Well said - I've said the same myself about the blue moaners who believe they have a superior knowledge of tactics and team selection than Pep. I often think that some of these strange fans are infiltrators.
Agreed, the amount of spare time they have on their hands points to them being jobless scousers

Anyone using stats to make an argument in sport, is almost certifiable.
Gen z tend to lap em like gospel though.
Says it all.
Can’t remember the topic, but some were whipping out graphs and charts the other week to get their point across. Looks boring to me and a bit snobby

Me, I look at Donarumma’s games and think he’s fucking mint, him. No graphs, no charts - just the simplicity of a good old observation.

I can tell you save percentage is as meaningless as win percentage. There is no context…how good was the shot? What was the chance it was going in? xG prevented is a much more useful stat but even then it’s not the whole story for a keeper.

Passing accuracy is pretty useless too as it doesn’t say how difficult the pass was or if it helped the team in any way.

All in all the graphs mean very little and are not the stats that any club actually looks at any more.
well as Xg and X assists are a load of bollocks and pointless bullshit and these are even more meanaingless, guess it is just to fill the page

OK so he aint great with his feet... but he played with PSG who are the most possession dominating team in the world, he must be at least.. decent? He was absolutely fantastic when I saw him in the CL, especially vs Villa.

Tired of reading and listening to all of this "have to feel for Trafford", "City have done him dirty"....

James Trafford would have known we were going to replace Ederson, When you sign for a big club this is part and parcel of football.

We can't be going worrying about James Trafford's feelings, It's a business, trophies and success is the name of the game.

He'll fight for his place and I'm sure the young lad is up for the challenge, he seems confident in his own ability and he also has the chance to learn for Donnarumma.
Yep, these are the same clowns who were disgusted by Pep’s “treatment” of McAtee

Anyone who’s good enough gets to play, those who aren’t don’t. Twas ever thus.

Good stuff.

Trafford did really well those first three games, the 'mistake' for me against spurs was on the CH's and without doubt he kept the score down both in that game with his late save & at Brighton.

That being said, it's 3 games, a good 3 games but, 3 games.

It's much more prudent to go with a keeper who has been there and done it all.

Need a decent song for him now maybe something around Donna Summers Works hard for the money ditty as I think he'll be a busy boy this season with our back line.
something from this

It's in no doubt he's a word class keeper
What is a surprise Pep signing him
Am Guessing Trafford isn't to pleased.
With Gundo and Eddie leaving peps favourites are in decline.
Interesting to see if peps thinking of radical changes to his system.
Only time will tell i suppose. CTID

We've bought him to raise the standard. A winner who's not going to take any of this flaky, half-arsed shit we've been serving up for the last year and a half. I hope he upsets a few in the dressing room if it's necessary.
Bang on to many average players signed since treble about time we signed a world class ready made player get standards back up
