Small matter of him getting a serious back injury in 2013 (kept him out for 18 months, during which Germany played 20+ games) and being in the same team as Toni Kroos, Sami Khedira, Mesut Ozil and Bastian Schweinsteiger. Not being negative, but how come someone of his quality only has 16 caps for Germany? Seems not a lot for someone so talented.
Footballers have lots of time to practice. And most of them come from a country where they teach it properly in schools.Yet another foreigner who has never worked in UK yet speaks perfect English. How the fuck do they do it? I been struggling with Spanish on and off for 20 years and I'm fucking useless.
Ah right, didnt realise he had been out so long with his back. As for those other players, hoping there is only really Kroos now who can compete with him.Small matter of him getting a serious back injury in 2013 (kept him out for 18 months, during which Germany played 20+ games) and being in the same team as Toni Kroos, Sami Khedira, Mesut Ozil and Bastian Schweinsteiger.
This little Turkish/German gem put in the second greatest performance (behind Yaya v United in the 2012 1-0 win, Kompany header, title run-in game) I've ever seen at the Etihad when Dortmund came in the Autumn of 2012 in that 1-1 game that Dortmund should really have won easily (they had about 27 shots and Hart made about four excellent saves).
I'm so pleased with this signing. More so than any since we signed Kun. Gündoğan's fucking magic!
By the way I think it's pronounced "Gindowan" (can any Turkish speakers confirm the pronunciation?)
