Never really watched/focused on him properly so not sure what to expect in terms of strengths and weaknesses. Well, I basically only watch games involving City and when we are playing I only focus on our players!

At the very least it will mean it increases the probability of playing our strongest central defenders rather than just the two who are fit.

I have to say, when the news of Guehi's potential arrival came up this week, I remembered something I'd forgotten about him, which was the rainbow armband fiasco last season.

This was when he wore the rainbow armband as part of the Premier League's inclusivity initiative, but wrote over "I LOVE JESUS" on it in marker pen. At the time, a lot of my fellow lefty friends were up in arms about what he'd written, and I remember supporting the criticism of him and being suspicious about any prejudices he might have.

Only, googling it again this week after I'd remembered about it - just to remind myself of it - I saw a picture of another armband he'd written on that said JESUS LOVES YOU", which isn't my bag personally but is far more open-minded and welcoming. So much was made about the first armband but I never saw a thing about the second one he'd worn.
