His willingness to play through the lines will become a massive asset. It’s something we’ve missed since Rodri’s been injured - not always defining passes, just passing forward puts the opposition on the back foot and will be a welcome re-addition.

Correct. We need to give him time to settle. He will make a few mistakes for sure. This team will expose him.
Rodri took time to settle as he was being compared to Fern.
Phillips has made me really cautious. I never rated him but thought he would have done much better than he did.
This lads only 23 so more development needed. I will be pleased if he gets up to speed next season so can give rodders a rest.
Also Rodders can drop into CB if we are short there with speedie in front.
It wouldn’t take as much out of Rodders at CB whilst easing his way back

We all know how much Rodri (formerly known by some on here as 'Plodri') improved under Pep's mentorship. So I'm very optimistic about how much he will improve once he arrives at the best club in the world.

Best of luck. All you have to do is protect the leakiest defence in the league :)

Don't you just love Txiki. Comes on bluemoon sees the panic and rather than get this done on 1st Jan for the moaners he gets it done as late as possible!

A lot of pressure on this lad to salvage our season, but give him time!

I actually think the opposite. This season with so many injuries, fatigue and squad age catching up with us has turned to crap.

The new players will be able to play with low expectations. Anything is better than falling apart and getting beat by 2/3 goals.

Until next season, it’s a free hit.
