Welcome Nico Gonzalez

The best signing of our Transfer Window by the looks of it.

Pep loves a Spanish CDM (Busquets, Alonso etc) and Nico could work in tandem with Rodri so as to not overload the workload (which will be huge in the next 18 months)

Is he available for the Madrid game or is he Cup-tied?

All the people on here giving Walker Shit every week did not encourage him to stay.
He didn’t need much encouragement to leave.

Nah I don’t get the sympathy. His personal life that is all over the media is down to him and his winky.

A brilliant player but it don’t sit right that as captain he abandoned his team mates in Jan during a defensive crises of sorts.

He could have stayed and helped us out for a few more months. Instead he hide then ran.

He will be available, Porto are not even in CL and players signed in January can be registered even if they have played in another CL team.

Wasnt his grandad the builder in faulty Towers

Lol, Fawlty Towers .. O'Reilly the builder ..... he was played by Dublin actor David Kelly, wasn't he?? Sadly long gone now, but never forgotten ... i can recall him starring in a couple of episodes of the Avengers back in the late 60s .. and the late 70s sitcom 'Robin's Nest', as a one armed bistro waiter!

Nico O' Reilly .... our young player from North Manchester, 'scouted' as a youngster by Liverpool, Everton, United and City .... but chose City because of the superior training facilities, and joined our academy at the age of just eight years old.!

Welcome addition and he will provide some physicality and younger legs to our midfield wnich we are in desperate need of. . This season has been tough to watch our midfield being overrun on a regular basis and the introduction of Gonzalez will hopefully help in this area.

lol I have never seen a comment of mine reposted on here. Pretty sure I just ripped it straight from a @Gary James post on here as well…
Yes. That’s one of mine originally. I interviewed Harry in the 1990s and he was about 96. He had some wonderful stuff to say.

Interesting video giving some background on the fella. It may already have been posted, but I'm too lazy to trawl back through 20-odd pages. If it has already been posted, humble apologies.
