Welcome Nolito

with respect to Nolito, he may be a good 3rd striker for us and at 14 mil that's what we're getting. We however need a "crack" striker to partner Aguero if we're serious. Let's hope we have our eyes set on one this summer.

Partner? Pep doesn't use strike partnerships, does he?

We really don't,pep likes more midfielders and we have plenty now who can score goals

Shrewd signing at 14 million quid.
Probably knows his international
career is pretty much over and wont
demand to play every game.
Happy to help when called upon.
Bottom line is that Pep wants him.

I very much doubt his international career is over - he's Spain's only decent winger.

He was a starter at the Euro's and to get in that team is damn hard,he has the world cup in him i would say

Exactly. He currently starts for Spain and almost all of their starting outfield players would get a starting berth in our first 11 or regular first team action.

I just hope he settles to life in England quickly.

We've needed someone like Nolito for years. Our wing-play has become predictable as our wingers, quite frankly, have a limited skillset. Neither Navas or Sterling are much danger when they cut inside which is a huge negative as we love spreading the ball to our wingers making our entire play very predictable. Nolito is a very good player that is very productive and will bridge the gap between now and the time it takes the younger players to understand Pep's demands e.g. Sterling, Brahim, Roberts, Sancho etc.

Winger who can get assists and score goals and didn't cost a fortune. Great piece of business.

Just read about him. Drives a mini! Seems a cool down to earth guy. Welcome to Manchester.
