When we played the "Home" Uefa Cup game at Oakwell the South Yorks Police laid on a great escort to get about 40 City coaches away from the stadium and upto the M1.
Motorcycle outriders with blues and twos on the go whizzing past at breakneck speed, stopping all other traffic at roundabouts and road junctions ,just to ensure that these football hooligan chappies were taken away from sedate South Yorkshire as soon as possible.

Same as Birmingham away last season, straight through the city centre.. Think it's probably common practice around the country with large coach numbers etc.
