It's OK on a laptop, but if you type out a reply to a quote using a tablet and you have to erase part of your own message because Google predictive text gets it wrong, you end up erasing part of the other posters message and it makes a mockery of that message. Some work to be done before it's wheeled out to the general public!

it will then ask you do you want to insert the quotes
you can even quote several posts at once by doing +Quote

and if you highlight some text by click and drag the "+quote and reply" button appears and you can then insert just the part you wantoff new forum
