Welcome to the newly expanded........

Whenever the "new expanded Etihad" is mentioned, I always look round to see which part has been extended since the last home match. To my shock/horror, it looks exactly the same. Unless there are away supporters in SS3, even they aren't going to notice the difference, apart from the external change.
 
Boys in blue fading out during "blue is forever, the best team in the land" lyric, that's the best line in the song ffs.

I like the together thing but they reduced the volume on it and faded it out as vinny said the last bit so it sounded wishy washy.

Hate the 'newly expanded'. Very small time.

I do realise that they are trying their best to get the crowd going before the game, like against Chelsea, but please do something less cheesy.
 
I don't like moaning about the announcer but why aren't we 'Manchester Ciy' rather than 'Cityyyy'?
 
All this pre match bollocks: cheesy videos, daft chanting competitions and the like stops any real atmosphere developing before the game. We shouldn't be doing anything once the players emerge from the tunnel apart from announcing the teams. If the kids want it fine but get it over and done with 5 minutes before kick off so that the vocal fans can get some real singing going. As others have said this "newly expanded Etihad" stuff was fine for the Chelsea game but is wearing a bit thin now.
 
I know it shouldn't wind me up but the we play for you bollocks and recently expanded stadium does piss me off. But the my block is louder than your block was as cringey as it gets.
 
Love our newly expanded stadium where the roof in the South Stand leaks and rain water falls through and you stand in puddles of water throughout the game. For a 21century stadium it's an appalling state of affairs. I hate the "we play for you" video, hate the fake attempts to generate crowd noise and couldn't give a toss about the Club badge.

We don't really hear anything in CBL1, the PA system is absolutely terrible. We get about one in 7 words!! Reading the comments on here we seem to be getting the best of a bad deal!! We only know who is playing by the photos coming up on the big screen, the same with the two 'announcers' yesterday, they came up on the screen and I managed to make out that they were getting fans to cheer, I hadn't realised that they were in 2 different areas until I read on here that they were trying to make it a competition between the two stands............ which makes me cringe even more!!
