Not saying he won't feature for us but dont think a loan was ever on the cards, he's clearly somebody for now and the future even if he isnt quite ready yet, having him here to settle in would surely have been the priority over a loan. The quicker they settle, the sooner they integrate into the team properly, no point in putting that off.

We’re bringing in young players, with a lot of potential.

However, unlike the rags, with Zebedee and Rasmus Birtles, among others, these won’t necessarily be thrown in the deep end left to sink or swim. They can be integrated gradually and allowed to grow into the squad, though with our injuries, I think that might be sooner, rather than later.

Yes - you get a real sense of the the club getting back on track with excellently executing the long term strategic plan - which differentiates us from almost every other club - and the prospect of nurturing a new generation of City success could see Pep staying beyond 2030 - the future really does look sky blue :-)
