Well done boss

I'll give pep more time than the vast vast number of posters on here gave Mancini and especially Manuel.

That's what city fans do.

That said, if we don't win the league by March next year and follow it with a cup win and a champs lge final I fully expect many on here to at least be consistent and be calling for his head as rest assured he will be in the best position of any city manager of the last umpteen years.

Lack of resounding success from season one is not an option.

Fucking hell, you do post some complete unadulterated bollocks you really do.

Glad this is the last time I will see Pellegrini in charge of City tomorrow .
I would have gone to Swansea next Sunday .
But the club decided to put all the eggs ,in the basket of winning the champions league .
Feels like a wasted season a part from winning the league cup .

An absolute gentleman and a great ambassador for the club, yes time is up but the way some people on here speak about him is simply disrespectful, a lot of big babies amongst our support these days

Nothing more disrespectful to our supporters than the half arsed unmotivated way he's sent his sides out at Southampton Stoke Liverpool Spurs etc

This is a harsh game. We can only consider and appraise him professionally.

His record and achievement has been compromised by the last 2 seasons but consider

1) He is not the sole factor in that. There are players, injuries and club policies. And FFP - very very significant. Injuries this season have been devastating. Not only have we had more injuries than any other club in Premiership football, but they have been to our very best players. How would Leicester have done without Vardy and Mahrez, Arsenal without Sanchez and Koscielny etc

2) However you have to wonder about the training regime which he is ultimately responsible for.

3) He took mancini's squad and lifted morale, but allowed the team to grow old. Yaya Toure being the best or worst example of a player who was at his peak and who should have been replaced. That is bad management. In the modern set-up of MCFC with a Director of Football I don't know who is responsible for that, but I am sure Pellegrini has a part.

4) It's obvious to all that this side needs to be overhauled and that the potential of the team is far weaker than it was when he arrived. Even allowing for FFP, City should and could have replaced players at their peak, or just past it

5) Credit is due for identifying Kelechi. He trusted him by not replacing Dzeko and Jovetic even if he could have played him more often. He may yet not fulfil his promise, but he is in a great position.
