Well done boss

An absolutely gutless manager and the team reflects his personality, too kind and weak.

2 subs in bony and yaya sucked the whole life out of the stadium.

He won the league with a rejuvenated Mancini squad.

Good riddance, I didn't stay because of today's shambles as Arsenal were there for the taking and the embarrassment of madrid.

I can name plenty that never won us the league, 2 domestic cups or got us to a semi final in the CL so its not that difficult.

Some of the shit being written tonight is ridiculous.
You struggling with comprehension fella?

I didn't ask "who won less", I asked who underachieved more.

Totally different things and if you are pretending you can't tell the difference then don't bother replying.

You've defended the O.C.C for months when it was obvious where we were headed. We had "we're still in four comps", then we won the "who cares cup" then like green bottles on the wall, the competitions disappeared and now we are on the verge of missing out on the top four to Leicester, Spurs, an Arsenal so shit that there is open revolt and the worst United side in a generation.

I'm all for sticking to your guns and backing yourself, but sometimes you have to put your hand up and admit that, like the DOF and Chairman, you fucked up and put trust in someone totally undeserving.

Now we need the hammers to win to stand a realistic chance. Oh how the mighty have fallen.

Steve Coppell Alan Ball Frank Clark Mark Hughes Stuart Pearce John Benson Malcolm Allison (2nd time) and those are just the ones I can think of while I've been going.
I don't think Pearce is a good manager at all but he had no resources available to him and had to sell his only decent player. I think I am right in saying he made a net profit on transfers during his stint. The football was shocking but he kept us in the prem, I genuinely never felt that he underachieved as City manager. I know that's not a popular view though.

Underachieved more then yeah?

I will stick with what I said thanks.

well atleast he is getting a good parting gift !

Sheikh Mansour and Khaldoon Al Mubarak have splashed out on an original L.S. Lowry painting as a parting gift for Manuel Pellegrini. [MEN]
Nobody at the club would reveal which painting they bought, but Lowrys can cost anything between £4,000 and £5.6million. [MEN]

I'm saying pellegrini has failed with what he's had available to him more than what was available to the above names. So imo he's worse.

I think the question asked was about under achievement. None of those had the tools at their disposal that Pellegrini has had.

He has under-achieved hugely in his time here. It's not even as though we've stood still with him , we've actually regressed pretty badly.

In his first season here I said he was a bang average manager after scraping the league with a far superior squad to anyone else. To be fair, I was wrong about this. He's nowhere near a bang average manager. He's fucking shite and is genuinely on about the same level as Stuart Pearce.

Well you're wrong on all but one.
Spot on SWP , it's about the underachievement that grates.

Inherit the best squad in the League and spend a further £200 million then in years 2 and 3 we start going backwards. If the Sheikh were to say he's done his bit and pulls out, ( not that I think he would) everyone would be horrified at what a lost opportunity the last two years have been.

His arrogance on some of his decisions have been staggering. We have to make hay with the best owner and opportunity we will never ever have again. Top four should have been a formality. Khaldoon looked livid at the end.

It's quite difficult to compare former managers with MP in terms of underachieving.

We had no real expectations before SM took us over.

Frank Clark basically relegated us to the third tier. That's got to be worse than MP?

Even Hughes would have made top four with this squad.

Nope. That's the **** that signed Tevez, Robinho, Barry, Given, Bellamy, NDJ, Sweep, Adebayor, Lescott and was handed Zaba and Vinny and benched the last 2 while taking Sven's team backwards and Sven was crippled with injuries from Christmas onwards, that lad managed to spend a decent part of the season round the top 4, unlike the rag agent.
