Thank you, Manuel Pellegrini, for some of the highest highs we have ever experienced at City...certainly in my 52 year lifetime. You are a class act, and I thank you for the dignity and poise with which you have led the club forward. It is clear the back room was in disarray when you arrived and you have calmly and assuredly done what you were asked to do.

My best you, sir. You are, indeed, a charming man.
I don't know about the highest highs (FA Cup Semi and Final and League Title under Mancini would be near impossible to beat) but the rest I agree with.

Bang average manager, taken us backwards. Taken us to our worst points total in 7 years with arguably our strongest ever squad.

Adios to the charming mug.

Great achievement haha fuck he has left us in a worst position since Mark Hughes. We could defend under Mancini since we been a joke not good enough since we won the title. How can the team go from solid to that in the space of 3 years I just will never understand.

Yeah he was a top man MP but just not good enough in the management of players at times. It seemed like he lacked a real backbone to do anything and change any of his usual players.

Took over a fantastic squad of players at the peak of their powers, who had proven they had the mentality to be winners, invested 100s of millions of pounds in strengthening that squad, and turned them into a shambles that will just about finish fourth ahead of the worse United team in a generation. Thank god he's finally going.

Stay classy Blues.

Farewell to the most inspiring and accomplished manager in the club's history. An inspiring leader of men who's taken a sqaud of average players to unprecedented heights that they shouldn't be capable of on paper. A tactical genius and an innovator who knows no failure. A man that we're all desperately sad to see leave.

Better?

Very poor manager , always good in his first season , wants to be everyone's mate

Thanks for steadying the ship , goodbye , you won't be missed

How anyone can say this is our strongest ever squad beggars belief. Even if Kompany, Silva, Aguero, Zabba etc had been fit all season we would still have been less strong than 2012-14 when those players were younger, less injury prone and at the absolute peak of their talents. Maybe it is you who is the not so charming mug.
