86, 79, 66....
That's some regression in the league.
86, 79, 66 says everything doesn't it.Exactly
We've gone backwards under him
Didn't rate him from day one and glad his reign is over
Onwards and upwards with Pep!
That'll do Dunney!Farewell to the most inspiring and accomplished manager in the club's history. An inspiring leader of men who's taken a sqaud of average players to unprecedented heights that they shouldn't be capable of on paper. A tactical genius and an innovator who knows no failure. A man that we're all desperately sad to see leave.
Better?
86, 79, 66 says everything doesn't it.
A waste of food, and more importantly a waste of 3 years. He's taken players nearing the end of their careers and made them worse and now their careers are finished. Dreadfui.
image upload[/URL]I didn't really disagree with your sentiments, just the stuff about the highs. Again I'd disagree about the best football. The season we won the title under Mancini we played some outstanding football, certainly, from my point of view, better than Pellegrini has produced. That said, I agree with you in that he's done what he was asked to do. We've been very successful under his stewardship, and he leaves with my thanks.Mancini was always excitement, for good and bad.
Pellegrini's remit was fix the rot in the back room, keep us at the top of the league and go deep in the CL. He took us to within ONE GOAL of the CL Final, and has done a good job overall, including showing us some of the best football we have seen at City in our lifetimes.
I prefer to look on the positive side of what a quality person has done for my club. Once a blue, always a blue, and I will always be grateful to him for his work here.
I knew it was our fault.Manuel Pellegrini to BBC Sport: "I wanted to win the Premier League this season, but the atmosphere from February when the club announced the new manager was maybe not the best atmosphere, we lost two important games at home when we were three points behind the leaders.
Pretty fucking sure it was you that announced it...
I genuinely don't think the performance was turgid. If our finishing was better we'd have won by a hatful.Thank fuck it's all over. Champions League qualification not great, but better than fifth. Turgid performance at Swansea, sums up the last couple of years. Bye, bye....
He got in there first before the club announced it. They had collateral ready to go. Maybe he was told to announce itManuel Pellegrini to BBC Sport: "I wanted to win the Premier League this season, but the atmosphere from February when the club announced the new manager was maybe not the best atmosphere, we lost two important games at home when we were three points behind the leaders.

The Precious one?Next year will be interesting. According to so many of the experts on here we should have smashed the league this year.
Imagine the carnage the precious one will inflict on this league next season after spending millions on new toys in the summer.
I reckon we'll have it won by February. And a trophy or two on top at least.
Can't wait.
Prestwich Blue?The Precious one?
You not gonna do a PB and be a **** to the new guy as you didn't like how the old guy was treated are you? Because it's been done and was fucking idiotic.
