Well done City...... not

I found out Friday I could not go yesterday.

Tried to put it on the exchange like I have done in previous seasons but the rule has now changed from 3 hours to 24 hours.

Had no one to transfer it to on my “nominated list” as they couldn’t go or were already going.

So the seat went empty for the first time in the 19 years I have been a season ticket holder.

It is beyond ridiculous. Why have they changed it from 3 hours to 24?

It was a guaranteed sale game on the TX.

I know that is 10 days ahead for that, and it was a high demand game from the requests I got, I hoovered up a the a couple in my block for under 18s to go as I know there is always room as people who have tickets have stood closer to the away fans for 4 years, and they would have sold.

I agree if it happens last minute there are far less options. I don't agree with it, but we know the rules and need to plan ahead. There are workarounds too.

Perhaps you should be suspicious of business interests but I think you should be less suspicious of new supporters. We've gone from 34k at Maine Rd and soon it will be 60k. Much of City's new supporters will be from different backgrounds to you.
34'000 ? Methinks you are just picking a certain moment in time. Ive been there for 52'000, and 40 odd thousand for our average gate, season after season.

You can transfer it to someone on your list and they can forward the email on to whoever wants the ticket

Well make sure you add that fan to your list. I do think you have a point. I like digital ticketing in theory but the clubs systems are not working.

I have a different problem. My phone won't get me through the turnstile and I have to ask the guys in white on the turnstile to let me in. This puts me off buying tickets for friends and family. So far City refuse to give me a plastic seasoncard which I think is against Premier League rules.
116 incoming ;)

Why not put the ticket on the exchange? It's not an ideal solution but at least makes the ticket available.
As an aside the seat next to me is usually sold on the exchange but was empty yesterday so perhaps the pricing is just too silly.
My wife is unable to travel at the moment. Usually my son takes the seat but he was not available for the Everton match and we used the Exchange. The seat went almost instantly.

And how do you know this as a fact?
He was on the same flight as me to Rotterdam a few years ago for the Feyenoord game and it was like a zoo so he’s probably right. He didn’t look too impressed sat on the front row with easyJet

What you on about?
Think you have missed any point i was making totally.

Wasnt offering an opinion on any supporters

I bought a few tickets for rock concerts last year and due to ill health, I tried to pass them on. All the gigs were sold out, but nobody took up my offer, even when I tried to give them away. i think people are scared off by scammers.

Not yet but I will do at some point
I thought it had been stamped out this season along with other changes, it goes straight into your wallet according to those who have done it.

I haven't transferred one myself yet either but expect it to be different.

I think the change is, if you transfer it to a paid up member, it'll go straight on to their card. Although I haven't done that myself, so not certain.

What I have done is transfer one from a season ticket to a non member on their three man list and that definitely is just an email that can then be sent on to anybody.

He specifically said it was 34k WHEN WE MOVED FROM MAINE ROAD, which is correct
