well done hughes and well done city

Well said De Niro....

Playing poorly and getting points away from home, then winning home games is top-4 form to me! Not to mention 1/4-finals of the first domestic cup competition...

All in all, not 1/2-bad i would say!

Come on you blues - Chumps league is a doable goal this year and every year from here on in !!!

Only played 4 games at home and got 10points second best goals against in the league ,win our game in hand and were only 3points behind the scum ,and we had to play tevez and santa cos ade and robinho were out injured ,tell me im dreaming....But cant help using that word if we had . lol come on city.......................

4th in the table with a game in hand, injuries all over the squad, lost one game all season(robbed at that)and now today held on to a point when not at our best.
like it.
a liitle tweaking and champions league here we come.

not read whole thread but this post is 100% spot on. all City fans should be rejoicing and have a bloody big smile on their faces. True, yesterday was not pretty and to lose a 2-0 lead v fulhma was frustrating and disappointing- but to reiterate we're 4th and have the resources to continue improving. the wider picture is looking very healthy.

what's not to smile about?? or to rephrase and more to the point, why the fuck are any City fans moaning?

wrong, he wont get another season if this one goes pear shaped, and rightly so. with the january window and 5 more months to play he will have had all the chances he deserves or needs.i said from the very start that this coming xmas will be judgement time, depending on where we are he'll get funds to finish the job, if he gets 10m he's a gonner in summer, 50m means he's here long term.fairs fair by may if this squad has'nt achieved something, not progress, actually achieved a top 4 finish or a cup the manager will have failed us.if that happens the new man is on a winner though, the foundations are there for all to see, hughes has tidied up our club from top to bottom, it was run like a car boot sale till he walked in the place.
back on the pitch i hate the formation he is using, its costing us points left right and centre in my opinion, however we have to be pleased that we are where we are, had he gone gung ho and played it the way bluemoon want it played we could well be mid table, that would do us or him no good whatsever.me the optimist would say at least try it ffs we could be top now:)

but thats me.

Pretty much sums it up although I don't think xmas will be judgement time or that we will be able to read the owners intent by how much cash Hughes is allowed to spend.

Everything hinges on where we finish at the end of the season. ADUG provide the cash and the support. Hughes turns this into achievements on the pitch. If he doesn't then they will find someone who will. Its very simple really.
