10 years as a manager is long enough to see whether or not he has what it takes.When the top jobs become available,names like alladyce,megson and reid don't get mentioned,because everybody knows what theyr'e about.I think Hughes is almost identical to Pearce.Top of his game as a player,well respected throughout the football world and has experience in international management but in club management,the limitations start to show.Like i said,10 years in management doesn't make you a novice with promise,it shows everybody what kind of manager you are and what your style of management has achieved.GStar said:Wenger was managing in Japan when Arsenal snapped him up; he began at Nancy (who were relegated under his guide) ...it took him four years to win a trophy.
