best post so far and to those non beleivers 'get a fuc***g grip and get behind your new manager'

The way half you fickle idiots got behind Hughes?

Where was Cook yesterday?

Was was it up to Given/Toure to inform the squad of the decision?

Why didn't Cook made a statment to the press?

He bottled it, he's been one big blunder after another... He said publicaly how he backed Hughes and how he was the best young British manager... whilst simultaneously undermiming him by stating publically Hughes only like to buy in his "comfort zone".

You bottled it Cook, what a stupid irony (unles you were sacked too).

perfectly entitled to that opinion mate but i'm pretty sure that the majority of the hughes inners will be the most supportive of mancini and that the majority of the hughes outers will be the first to call for mancinis head.

the sacking of hughes proves nothing (the publicly stated target was top 6 and we were on course for that - is that not a fact?) with respect to the hughes outers. we will now never know if he could or would have achieved the targets set for him by the club and the fans. the king is dead, long live the king.

The exceptence of Hughes was by many City fans, due to fact that fans have very little say in the appointments of our Manager, just like every other club! if the fans did have a say then I'm sure they would not of had Hughes in there in the first place, you have to remember Hughes was not brought in by the arabs, he was appointed before the buy out! but the fact is he spent vast amounts of cash, bought some great players, but then found he could not manage them! the results speak for themselves! If you'v read any of my past post's, I have never been a fan Hughes, he over acheived at Blackburn, did fuck all with Wales, and the Arabs have not become Billionares because they are prepared to settle for second or third best! they want to be Number 1, just like the management at Chelski, Now going forward I dare say if Mancini does not achieve, he will find he will be given his P45, but sometimes you have to change things for things to happen!

Hughes, has to be the only City Manager in our History to devide us, like he has! City fans brawling between each other at games, and out in the Pubs, fucking not on!!

I love this club with passion! and for me Xmas has come early! so come on all blues get behind our new Manager ''Mr Mancini''

Sick of all the media, pundits and football hangers on having a go at the unfairness of Hughes sacking!
Lets be honest if the owners had been trigger happy or had made a knee jerk reaction to his complete lack of tactical awareness, Hughes could have been sacked on at least three prior occasions.
I don't think badly of Hughes for his efforts, but the reality is, he will never manage at the highest level though this was an unknown until he had been afforded the chance.
Good luck to him in the future, he's a decent bloke, but we need someone with a better understanding of mind games, tactics and man management of the kind of players neede3d to be the best.
Mancini may or may not be successful, but Hughes was obviously not good enough to get to the next level and at least now, theres a chance the new appointment could be a masterstroke.
Good luck to Mancini and our great club.
