Well done.

Re: hughes out flag

I wondered what that said. Got made to take it down quick enough though when the fans on the lower tier turned on them. What sort of dickhead takes a baner like that to a match?

Everyone would have had the time/money/energy to go if it was against United.

City's fans are nowhere near as good as we think we are.

Interesting point. It would have sold out against the rags. Which proves that thousands of people just couldn't be arsed.

Spot on.
What would the crowd have been if it was Milan?

All sorts of shit excuses for not going.
People with thousands of posts on here saying it was too cold!
Got no money, it's the end of the month, I haven't been paid. It was £15 FFS and the game wasn't arranged yesterday.
It is too far for some people to travel mid week, but we keep harping on about how we all come from Manchester, Get a fucking grip.

Too many people willing to take the easy option and stay at home and watch it on the telly with a few tinnys!

Shame on you all who were saying I can't afford it, sat there typing on your £500 laptops!

Cheers for the replies guys.

I don't think the guy that put it out got kicked out. 2 big heavies came down to sort it out but nothing came of it.

agreed.

on the site now it says that the Aalborg tickets are on sale today, but the 3rd tier will be closed again. FFS its embarrasing, we havent reached the last 16 of any european competition for 30 years, and no-one can be arsed to turn up.

People were pissed off when Kaka didnt come and blaming cooke for not tying up the deal and Hughes for not being a big enough name to attract the big name players, But its not just down to them, why would the best players in the world want to play in a half empty stadium week in week out.

Come on blues, go and pay your 20 nicker today, and lets fill the stadium and give the lads an atmosphere like the good ol days.

Milan only average 56000 in their 80000 seater stadium every season, and they've won god knows how many trophies.
