We cannot set out a pattern of play, or a specific scenario with City. I thought that the lay-off preceding the Sunderland game would have resulted in us running the legs of the Black Cats, but we got another abject first half performance. So what will happen v. Fulham, who knows. And were I a betting person, I would stick my shirt on Fulham having no hangover re the Juve match as you generally seem to get from commentators when MANUre put in a below par performance.

I'd have been more worried about playing them if they'd lost last night. As it is I think they'll be sort of hungover from the Juve game and be ripe for the picking.


But all in all, fair play to Hodgson and what he's done with the club. He comes across as a decent enough chap and I'm glad he's doing well there.
