Wembley 1999 Play-off final ticket question

The other end had preston v gillingham on them, there were mistakes.

I thought Gills did beat PNE in the semi though? And Wikipeadia concur : <a class="postlink" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1999_Football_League_Second_Division_play-off_Final" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1999_Footb ... -off_Final</a>

Are we both wrong?

I've fond memories of 1999.

I got a ticket in the WIgan end for the first leg from a colleague who was a pie eater!

I remember it was the last ever game at Springfield park so we went on the pitch at the final whistle and dug up a bit of turf for his back garden as a memento.

Maine road was a blur but Wembley was one of the the greatest days ever! Went with my mate Dave and his two daughters.

It use to be my greatest day ever but this season we have had two more trips to Wembley to add to my memories. Dave's daughters are all grown up now but I took my 7-year old to the final and both my 6 & 7 year olds to the semi!

are ticket stubs worth anything? i still have mine from the replay against spuds in 1981. cover price £2.50

I'm sure some 'collector' may want it. Have a go on eBay perhaps.

Anyway:

Such fond memories (especially travelling down with the Gamesley blues)!
