Coaches leaving Middleton at 6.30am

Our usual pub in Uxbridge by 10.30am

Landlord used to be a QPR fan but retired and sold it to a Chelsea fan who happens to be Neil Shipperleys brother

Good bloke.

Then onto the ground at about 1pm, takes about an hour or so to get there

Uxbridge stay as usual, General Elliot, Dolphin and three tuns for a few beers,
almost like a home match now, speaking and nodding terms in the pubs with locals and landlords haha

Departing Newcastle 7.50am not sure where to go for a beverage as of yet, depart back to Newcastle 8pm

Who remembers singing this on the kippax terrace back in the 80s

" Wem...ber...lee,Wem..ber lee!
It's a shitty place in London that were never gonna see
Wem ber lee, wem ber lee!!

How times change.; )
Yes, and even better, on the tube going bacl to London after the Gillngham playoff, everyone letting off fire extinguishers and singing "It's a shitty place in London where we won on penalties"

I am going down by train from Manchester, and coming back immediately afterwards. I appreciate that it is a Saturday KO, and it's 3pm. Scrambling back for 1-2 trains after 8pm is no fun.

One of the highlights of my day will be Abide with Me. Then you are in the place you dreamed to be, and you can think of your Mum or loved ones who spent a life time nurturing you and looking after as you lost to Halifax etc year after year. It was always my hope to go to an FA Cup Final and now we do it all the time. Loyalty rewarded but and we should remember our past. Football is about family and solidarity, and at Abide with Me, I will think of that.

Baker Street & Paddington always full of Chelsea

I am having a few cold german steiners in The German Gymnasium by Kings Cross / St Pancras, not the cheapest but best quality

Thanks. I’m looking at Euston/Kings Cross so will check that place out. Looks great.

Any other recommendations in Euston/Kings Cross area (from you and anyone else)?

I always feel emotional when we sing Abide With Me at Wembley. Always think of my late Dad as it was his favourite. He brought me up to be a Blue and for that I owe him a debt of gratitude.

Leaving donny at 9, onto watford junction and a beer in pub then train to Wembley central and into a spoons to meet others from donny then walk to Wembley
